I felt absolutely honoured when Lauren and Scott asked me to photograph their wedding at Lewana Cottages in Balingup. Only 18 months earlier I had helped Lauren's parents Mark and Jayne rebrand Lewana Cottages after they purchased the business. This was Lewana Cottage's first wedding and Mark and Jayne went to some amazing lengths to turn an old machinery shed into a stunning barn style reception equipped with a dance floor, guest toilet and a separate cocktail area. The ceremony itself was held near the dam surrounded by beautiful forest. There was some amazing attention to detail and I'm sure the whole family worked tirelessly to make this one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen. The bride and groom didn't have to walk far to get an amazing assortment of photos on the property. To top it off all the guests were accommodated on site in the historical cottages making it the perfect country wedding weekender. Lewana Cottages are now taking inquiries for weddings!
