Capturing loved up Perth couples
I love capturing couple's love stories in an authentic way, capturing what is special to you both, the way you hold each other, interact, laugh. A photoshoot shouldn't feel too forced or fake, and you should feel comfortable just hanging out with your number one!
I love visiting your favourite places to shoot on-location with beautiful natural light. The beach? A park? A favourite cafe? Your backyard? A date night? Let's be adventurous! Want to bring your pet dog? Well of course, they're part of the family!

Frequently Asked Questions
I am often asked by clients what to expect from a couple's photoshoot, so I have put together this handy guide to help you plan for the day.
What time of day should we have a photoshoot?
The ideal time of day for photography is typically the morning or afternoon. In the middle of the day the sun is at its highest point and can create harsh shadows under your eyes and chin. The two or three hours before sunset or after sunrise creates the best light. If going out on a date night (at night time) is something you're interested in then I would suggest starting the session with sunlight and ending it after sunset so we get a bit of both.
Where should we do the photoshoot?
I think it's really special if it's a place that means something to you both. Your evening walk? Your favourite beach? Date night in Northbridge? It helps everyone to relax if we have a location where we can roam. Going from one spot to the other breaks it up a bit and seems less daunting. I’ll capture the entire session and I won’t leave until I know we’ve got a bunch of nice shots to choose from. If you're still not sure where to go consider what you'd like to see up on your wall: Natural green of the bush? Colourful mural? Beach tones?
What should we wear?
Think about where you're going and what would match the colour palette of your surroundings. Think about how you want that photo to look on your wall. If you want to get really specific, then plain clothes (i.e. no patterns) work best in all situations. It looks great if you both wear colours that match. Avoid all black (unless that's your jam!). Light colours, muted tones and denim always look great as a general rule.
What should we expect on the day?
I think it helps if we keep moving, so once we meet up I generally like to go for a walk so everyone can relax. I think the best photos are those natural moments captured when you weren’t expecting it. I will definitely ask you to pose for photos and maybe ask some questions, but it’s those inbetween moments that count! I also like to bring music to a session (if the location allows) and you're welcome to provide me with a Spotify playlist!
When do we get our photos back?
After the photoshoot I may need up to 3 weeks to edit the photos for you. The high resolution images will be made available in an online gallery where you can view them, share them with family and friends, and download to your computer.
