Wedding photography for intimate love fests & fun folks
You’re getting married. Hooray! You’re planning the big day together. You want to do things differently. Small wedding vibes, rather than OTT crazy. Big love but small carbon-footprint. Don’t worry. I get you!
Your wedding should be less about putting on a show and more about re-affirming your connection. It’s all about you!
Intimate weddings are where it’s at – they give you the freedom to plan a day representative of your relationship, personality and values. It's not so much about the numbers, it's about enjoying the experience rather than feeling overwhelmed about the silly stuff.

How to choose your wedding experience

What exactly is a small wedding? What are chilled vibes?
There are so many ways to plan a wedding these days.
Let's break it down!

Am I the Perth wedding photographer for you?
Well, I believe wedding photos shouldn't feel forced or fake. You'll love photos that make you remember how it felt to get married, and likewise I want your experience with me to be a good one! Having a fun time is a big priority for me.
I have a documentary style of photography centred around play, the best way to describe it is eclectic (hence my name!). I go with the flow, depending on the vibe of my clients.
If you’re hippy and love the bush, then your photos will feel relaxed and natural. If you're urban coffee-addicts who love wandering the streets and looking at art, your photos will feel energetic and playful. I find the beauty in everything and everyone.
In short? Your photos will be an extension of you.
We’ll be a good fit if:
-
You’re a fuss-free couple who loves a laugh
-
You want an intimate wedding, the kind where you love everyone you invited
-
Your both planning an event that celebrates you as a couple
-
You want flexible wedding coverage
-
You want chill vibes on the big day
-
You care about the environment
-
You’re not into outdated traditions
-
You want to be mindful and present on your wedding day
-
You just want to celebrate with your number one

Wedding Photography FAQs

What’s the booking process?
Once you’re happy to go ahead, I ask for a small non-refundable booking fee to secure the date. The remaining balance will be split into two payments payable before the ceremony.

How soon do we get our photos?
I try to get some sneak peeks to you within a few days so you can share your wedding with family and friends. The rest of the gallery will be available within eight weeks.

How do I see my images?
I use an online gallery system called Pic-Time where you have the option to download the images in high resolution (for printing) or smaller web-sized files. You will both be provided with your own login where you set your own password. The gallery allows you to invite family and friends to view the gallery and download images. Your images will also be connected to an online store of Australian printers and album makers for super easy ordering.

How many photos do we get?
I don't promise a minimum or maximum amount of images as this is completely dependent on your day and how much is happening. I try to document as much as possible and will deliver all the best images, sometimes a few variations of the same moment, and I like to include funny bloopers and images that tell a story (so you remember all the little things).

How soon can we get married?
Soon! Just be mindful that your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be completed with the celebrant at least one month prior to the ceremony day.
Can you help us with our wedding plans?
I love helping couples plan a stress-free event. Once you've worked out a rough plan for the day, I help you create a personalised timeline, in person or via phone/video call. I'd also love to connect you with like-minded vendors!
How long should we book you for?
Only for the amount of time you need. I'm passionate about offering couples flexible coverage so you can choose how long you need a photographer for. I’ll help you create a timeline for a fun and efficient day. Book in for a chat.

What if we change the date?
When I reserve a date for you, I don't accept other enquiries for that date. Therefore, the non-refundable retainer will not be transferable to a new date and a new retainer will be applied. If you're unsure about the date let me know when you enquire and we'll work something out!
Do we need to know how many hours we’ll need before booking?
I'm happy to take a booking and work out the duration later.
Should we just get married at a registry office?
You could. But you could also create a personalised service somewhere else for just a little extra. Ask me about some of my favourite Perth celebrants and ceremony locations!

Are there any restrictions on ceremony locations? Do we need a permit?
Not necessarily. You only need to apply for a permit if you want exclusive access to a public space or private property. There are so many awesome secret places ideal for small intimate weddings!
Do you do weddings in the South West?
I’m based in Perth but happy to travel down south occasionally. It’s an extra charge for locations further than one hour from the CBD and accommodation costs may also apply. Alternatively I can connect you with photographers local to your location.
Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly? Do you do same-sex or non-binary weddings?
Of course I do! All inclusive here. Love is love.

Are you ok with us bringing our dog to our wedding?
I absolutely LOVE dogs (or other suitable pets!) at weddings!
Can we do it any day or time?
Yes! Within reason, of course. If you want a ceremony at 3am, I might charge you extra for it! As far as photography is concerned, I may suggest different times for better photos but hey it's YOUR day so we'll make any time work!
Do we have to wear a white dress? A suit?
Wear whatever you like. I love couples breaking the rules!
Can you arrange other things for the day?
Yes! At an extra cost, I can arrange food, cake, flowers etc. Just ask.

Can you arrange a videographer?
Whilst I don't offer the service personally, I know some great Perth videographers who have a similar, documentary style of videography for every budget. Having a photographer and videographer who have a similar working style makes the experience run smoothly for couples, as we work like a team. Be wary of old-school style videographers who have elaborate setups and force unnatural poses and situations which makes it harder for me to capture the natural flow of the day. Hit me up for my recommendations!

Can you arrange livestreaming?
Whilst I don't offer the service personally, I know some great Perth livestreaming videographers who do an amazing and professional job. Hit me up for their details!

Do we need to have a rehearsal?
It depends on the ceremony location and whether you have Friends of Honour joining you. We can suss this out when we chat.
