In today's digital age creative entrepreneurs have to market themselves and their businesses to stand out from the crowd, to be seen, to look professional. Alot of creative entrepreneurs can DIY like champions, but it's really hard to capture yourself working hard!
I offer creative entrepreneurs (artists, writers, illustrators etc) a two hour session to capture as much of their day as possible so they can use it for social media, website and marketing. In that time I will just hover around, asking questions and generally capturing the vibe of you ‘doing your thing’. It’s also a good opportunity to grab a few headshots and even some of your products.
Every entrepreneur is different, so let’s have a chat about how I can make your business shine!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT Time of day SHOULD WE HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT?
It depends on the location. Are we indoors or outdoors? If you're indoors then you'll know when the light is best in your space. If it's outdoors, the morning and afternoon light is soft and warm. In the middle of the day the sun is at its highest point and can create harsh shadows under your eyes and chin, but can also be manipulated to create dramatic shadows. Let me know what you want from your photos.
Where should we do the photoshoot?
This is a session all about showing off you and your work. If we use a mural artist as an example, you might choose to have some photos in your studio sketching ideas, on location painting a mural or in front of a finished piece of work, then at a cafe drinking a coffee.
What SHOULD I wear?
Whatever you feel good in, and whatever you typically work in. Pastels, muted tones and denim always look great as a general rule. Black can get tricky if you're in a dark space (i.e. you might look like a floating head). You're welcome to have several changes of clothes ready to get as much use out of the photos as possible.
What should we expect on the day?
I think the best photos are those natural moments captured when you weren’t expecting it. I want to apologise in advance for all my bad jokes and ridiculous antics to make you smile!
when do I get my photos back?
After the photoshoot I may need up to 3 weeks to edit the photos for you. The high resolution images will be made available in an online gallery where you can view them, download them, or share them with magazine or journalists who might need high resolution images of you or your work.
